Ovaries are important part of female reproductive system. They are located in the pelvis , one on each side of uterus , connected to uterus through fallopian tubes. Cystic enlargement of ovaries are very commonly physiological. When cystic changes proceed beyond the normal range , the condition is referred to as a cystic ovary.
Various types of functional ovarian cysts are:
